Why doesn't hospital "ice cream" melt? LOL

I'm kinda afraid of the answer.

probably due to all the fats and 'gums' in it...some of the cheaper ice cream brands are like that too - you end up with a pile of 'goo' instead of melted ice cream. blech!

The icecream I got at hospital melted. But it had a mousse like texture.
