Help Support Crohn's Disease Forum:

Yep, I am HOME!!!!!!

Took ages for them to get organized and I had mobility equiptment (over the toilet frame etc.) and a gigantic box of meds and feeds like you wouldn't believe to take home. The poor pharmacist! And they still didn't have my discharge letter done at 6pm so Mum has to go back and collect it. It will be 'interesting' to see what it says.

Feels wonderful to be back in my own surroundings. I feel like myself again! But sooooooo tired. Am aching all over just from the effort of getting from the car to my room and then sitting on the sofa tonight. But it's a good type of ache, cos I know it's building muscle again (apart from the bone and nerve pain lol).

Still feeling so overwhelmed by the whole experience and also the battle that lies ahead of me. I need to put on nearly 20kg to get up to a min. weight. Seems like mission impossible right now. But I put up my PEG feed tonite and managed OK.

I'd like to say thank you all so very much for all the support you guys have given me thru this. It's really been a nightmare but you have helped so much. I am so glad I found you.
