Ive been lucky enough to have the physical problems stopped (D, Pain, amount of toilet trips etc)

But I still have problems adjusting to "normal" life now i feel better.

If my friends ask me to go out (clubbing or just to their house) I still get apprehensive about going to the toilet and also if I can stay awake that long

I try to get out as much as possible when im feeling ok. Usualy I go cycling, simply because I can come back without using public transport. Its a sense of release for me . Still cant do pubs or clubs and dont think I will again as this aint goin away anytime soon.

Rygon, I can so relate to that! I'm in remission and for the most part doing well. But I'm still kind of terrified to try foods that have been a trigger in the past. What I do is, I try to test one new food each Friday night. I don't work weekends, so if it goes badly then at least I'll have the weekend to recover. And that's actually been going okay and I'm feeling a bit more comfortable with food lately. But when I go out, yeah, I still look for where the bathrooms are and I carry wipes and creams in my purse at all times and I don't stay out too late and I only drink water. I don't want to piss off my body so I try not to make it angry and I am somewhat prepared in case of the worst. I don't think I'll ever be totally "normal" mentally (or physically) ever again.
