Tummy has been so so bad today that I'm having to resort to laying on the floor with my head on the bed (it's a low bed) surrounded by pillows so I have no pressure anywhere on my lower half.
I take slow release morphine and it's not doing anything for the pain. Tramadol..zapain. ..nothing works..I thought morphine would be my answer but I'm wrong .

How do you sleep during a bad flare??

Might need a change in meds honestly. Getting to sleep is hard when you're in a lot of pain. If morphine isn't helping you sleep then perhaps you can talk to your doctor about taking some other sleep aids. I've taken Ambien in the past (10mg), I currently take Tylenol 3, Xanax (1mg) and Benadryll (pain pills make me itch at night and they help make you sleepy) to help me sleep. Not only do I have insomnia but I have bad hip and back pain from osteoarthritis so getting to sleep can definitely be hard. Have you tried any sleep aids or anything else that may relax the body (such as muscle relaxers or anxiety meds)?
