Today should be 1 month and a half since I started to get bad abdominal pain. My doctor put me on Entocort 3 pills a day at 3mg. It did stop the intense abdominal pain but I still get some pain. My doctor did a colonoscopy 3 weeks ago and he said the D progressed a bit. Now I don't get the abdominal pain as much but I am getting a lot of blockage is that a sign that i might be getting better or worst? I am having trouble with my bowel movements. My doctor lowered the amount of entocort I am taking to 2 pills a day at 3mg each.

I would say blockage is NOT a good thing. You need to let your doc know so he cn adjust your meds. Maybe lowering the Entocort is too soon or you need something else on top of it. Definitely let your doc know ASAP. If blockage gets worse you can end up in the hospital. If you get a fever and/or start vomiting get to the hospital immediately.

Im on Entocort and have been for weeks. The severe pain is gone, but I still have tummy pains, and D all the time. It comes and goes and varies in intensity.....I guess this is "normal".....Im not sure though...hang in there!!

When I was taking Entocort, I guess it was helping, but I could hardly go to the bathroom and I had cramping all of the time. I guess I was better than before I was taking it, but I kind of still felt bad from all of that.
