I cant stand when someone asks how I am and I reply good They reply are you sure you dont look fine. Well sonetimes I want to say I've had no sleep in days I am very nauseated im crapping blood my pain is about 9 out of 10 and I feel like im going to pass out does that answer your f***** question..............

I HATE that question. well really the question i get is "how is your health?"
its like, really , do you want to know the answer to that?
I know its people just trying to be supportive, but they don't know that questions like that are annoying, and answering it in a way you described is even more annoying. Like "do you REALLy want to know how I am ?" 9 out of 10 tey don't. its such a general question that has lost its meaning
EDIT: I don't think you live to far from me, I can't think of exactly where odessa is, except that its south of me, but I think you are relatively close

Im in west texas about 6 hours from Mckinney. Everyone I know acts like I've had or have a cold im getting over... maybe we should vote on changing that question to"Hows the toilet today? Or Hows everything flowing in your life? J/k some kind of ibd related humor question..............

A few members and I had talked about going on a Crohn's retreat. We thought a cruise would be nice. but then we figured they wouldn't be to happy being stuck on a boat with a bunch of girls that use the bathroom nonstop

I hate that question too, but i always respond in as much detail as i can, it usually shocks them and then they never ask me again!
