Hi,
I've been on Humira since Feb 2009 after Infliximab stopped working. I was wondering if anyone who is on the fortnightly injections been on holiday for 3 weeks and what to do about this? Looking to be going to America in January and I am worried I will be overdue my dose by a week :s.
Also, do people get their 10 yearly pneumonia vaccine and annual flu vaccine? Been told these are needed and I looked them up and they're not live so seems fine to have.
I will also be working as an Occupational Therapist on liver and gastro wards soon and there will be lots of patients with TB. The Specialist IBD nurse has told me that as long as I had my BCG as a teenager then I will be fine but I am worried about working with people who have TB. My confidence in the specialist nurses is seriously waning as I feel they are very dismissive and if I'm relatively well then they're not interested. I hardly ever contact them and I'm considering being referred to another hospital.
Any advice is much appreciated
