i am a moron
my hubby had his tonsils out this morning. being the genius i am i didn't eat thinking it wouldn't be that long..... um big mistake. it was a 5 hour wait for me and it was done at an outpatient surgical center with no cafeteria. there was a small kiosk with some snacks and drinks available to buy. for some reason i decided on a cliff bar... now i've had crohn's for 15 years and have had no colon for 13 of those years. i KNOW better than to eat granola bars of any kind, especially those with nuts. now i am miserable. blood, pain, ouch! how dumb am i. i guess i was so nervous about my hubby i lost my damn mind for a minute. i hope it doesn't get much worse because i need to be able to take care of my hubs for the next few weeks during his recovery. (he is comfortable right now, sleeping off all his lovely surgery drugs and snoring like nobodies business)
