i would usually get advice from my mum..but shes on holiday so i dont wanna worry her by telling her im ill and i dont know weather to go the doctors or not.. there sick of seeing me

i feel so crappy. very sore stomach still, slight nausea, very tired still but now im light headed, my memory is so bad i have to think about what ive don ean hour before. im shaking and im so hot and im having trouble with my breathing and my inhalers arnt really helping. all i wanna do is sleep. im still not putting on any weight.. im due to see the dietician on tuesday

i dont want to go to the doctors for them to say i just have a cold. but ive got to go to work early tomorrow so i need to feel better sharpish.

3 days before college im ill..grrrr

I would get it checked out and like what happened to me if you truly don't feel well bug them till they help you. I always feel like I am overreacting or being a nuisance too. In the end you have to take care of yourself and not care if you look crazy while trying to do it.

Yup... I agree. I've been told its in my head, I'm just stressing myself out, I'm just eating poorly... but the fact is that you NEED to fix yourself so you can be happy... its no one else's job.

Ya dizzyness isn't something you should want to mess around with. Malabsorption can cause you to be lightheaded. Are you in a flare right now?

i havnt been well for the past 3 months

when i went for my appt with the consultant he didnt even listen to me when i told him my symptoms.. he just told me to eat and basicly shouted at me to eat. but how can i eat when i feel sick .. he doesnt understand. im eating..but not as much as i should be eating. all he did was refer me to a dietician.. he thinks its all in my head.. which it isnt

i cant concentrate..at work i forget what im doing half way through doing something.. its really stressing me.

how do i find some one else? my consultant is really good. and understands and tries to help.. its when i see the people he works with that i have aproblem because they dont listen. because my test results are coming back normal.. aprt from a narrowed illium they are dismissing my symptoms. when i go and see the dietician tomroow i am going to see if there is any way he/she can ensure i only see Dr Bohen. not the ones he works with

I had a similar experience with the OB/GYN office I went to. Half of the doctors there were total idiots and were actually recommending stuff that would hurt me all because they knew nothing about a rare disease I have. Whenever I made an appointment I told them I would only see one of two doctors there - they accommodated me.

I really hope they will for you. It isn't right that they are discounting your symptoms and treating you that way.

i think they just dont want to do more tests becasue myn are coming back normal. but when they do the tests im feeling fine. they should do them when i am ill. if they dont do something about it soon im going to complain cos they cant jsut push patietns to one side because it invloves them having to work or read things in order to help por it costs more money

I remember seeing on of the junior doctors about 8 years ago. I'd just got a solid Crohn's Colitis diagnosis.

This guy looked at my notes and decided that I had IBS. He prescribed some anti-spasmodics and said I'd never need to come back.

I got home and rang the consultant directly as I was pretty sure that he wasn't right.

I think he got fired. He certainly doesn't work for the hospital any more.
