My anxiety was for nothing! He is not willing to sign the consent form, but is not opposed to me adding it to my treatment plan. I explained the monthly experiment I tried in Oct and how well it went and that I had not smoked but once (23 yrs ago) in the last 27 years until my experiment.

He doesn't have a problem with it, but he wishes there was more evidence out there before he is completely on board!

So I got a copy of my medical records and took them over to the certification center and once the Dr reviews them and I qualify they will call and set up an appointment.

I am so relieved! So hopefully I will have my green card within 3 weeks! Around the same time I am scheduled for my second colonoscopy this year!

Very good to hear!

I've found that most doctors are afraid to admit MJ has medical value. I brought my use up with my GI last year along with about 15 legitimate studies showing that MJ does great things for GI issues. He didn't want to read any of it. It seems that most mainstream doctors aren't ready to recommend cannabis

I as well asked my GI about Crohns and MMJ and he more or less mentioned same being too new and not enough evidence to support.

He is a younger doctor and probably fresh out of school so maybe his books hadn't been updated yet? He also mentioned along lines of it's still smoke.

I'm wondering if I can still get the CBD in cap form if he can agree to some benefit?
I'm really not looking forward to our next visit and discussing the plan Humira, monthly injections and whatever else he wants to try on me.
