Hi OK So for the past year I have been feeling sick and can not eat that much. So yesterday I went to my doctor and he asked me whether I drink a lot of Coca Cola? As I do I said yes. So he said I have Ulcers and gave me a medecine called Ropem If I am right? Anyways Since Sunday I only feel really sick at night right before dinner and can't eat at all where as before it was only in the morning. For four days now I have been feeling sick only at night. At lunch I OK Not feeling sick at all in the morning the same and even in the afternoon I am OK. But once it hits 8 PM BAM! I feel really sick and feel like throwing up. And I can't eat and once I go to bed it becomes worse. Can this be due to the acid in my stomach and my Ulcer Condition? And by the way my friends say that my mouth smells really bad so I have a feeling that maybe I have a Stomach Infection? Also my stomach makes a lot of weird noises when I feel Sick.

HI mama

I really think that you should go back to your doc and ask for an endoscopy. I am not suggesting that you don't have an ulcer but from experience you really do need to know what sort ,where it is and what caused it. I have had both doudenal and peptic ulcers . They take a small biopsy when they do a scope to see if the hellicobactor virus is present . If so you may need to go on anti-biotics to clear it up. It has never shown up in my stomach which is rare ,it is very common. Ihave to take proton pump inhibitors every day (somac ,nexium) to prevent recurrence... Ron

Endoscopy and colonoscopy tests should be ordered by doc. Cola will take the rust off a car, so goodness knows what it has done to your belly. The acid levels are probably quite out of whack and it may take some time to heal. I would highly recommend no carbonated drinks or alcohol (which doc probably mentioned already) and only healthy food. Probiotics may help get your stomach balance. Very important you follow doc orders to reduce any further problems. Ulcers are quite serious and can be fatal. Treat this seriously and change your diet (food and drink). Stomach making noises can be a healthy thing, as it tells you things are active there. It is probably highly acidic and trying to get healthy. Your breath is bad because your stomach is bad. Garlic capsules are also another thing to help with infections and stomachs. Keep reading and looking into this...what you do now wil help! Some greek yogurt (as natural as possible) will be bland and help with probiotics in it. Try chicken broth, if you are not feeling like eating. no acidic foods...good luck!
