I lost weight.How can i gain it back?

So the problem is that i had a flare up and i was not eating so much because i have no appetite and lost like 7 kg weight.. my doctor know the problem and give me some supplements but i can't get weight i don't know what to eat to gain it back or what other supplements to get.. my doctor tell me i will gain it back in time but in 2 weeks i gained nothing..
So if someone know what to take to gain weight again will be great
BTW I have 3 meals a day but i think is not enough...

Hi crs, what do you mean by supplements, is it these drinks such as ensure and so on or multivitamin tablets? I would go for ensure because it has the calories and the vitamins in it and I noticed my body can absorb it pretty easy. I gained back the weight quite fast, so if you can tolerate the sweet taste I would recommend these drinks.
If not, is there something high in calories that you would tolerate? Cream, cheese, nut butter, vegetable oils (linseed for example, has a lot omega 3 fatty acids)? I would try to eat more often than three times a day in order to gain weight. In general, it's mostly about the calorie intake - calorie requirement ratio, so get in more than you would need but keep in mind that an ill body might require a lot more than you think it does.
What about your flare-up and your appetite now? How are you feeling?

Hello,I'm feeling better no more diarhhea and my appetite is back to normal..I don't know if i can found ensure in Romania...cream and cheese i can tolerate... Now i'm taking some multivitamin tablets from my doctor but i don't gain weight and is like i drink it and don't do anything i will try to take ensure i hope i can found it in Romania...Thanks

I managed to buy Ensure on the internet as that seems to be the one the doctors (here at least) all recommend. There's similar things: here we have Complan. I gained back about 4Kg in the six week wait I had before surgery mainly from having Ensure in the morning and Complan at night on top of normal meals (or at least the best I could manage).
