I need help drinking barium sulfate suspension

I have to get lots of MRE's and to do that, I need to drink barium sulfate suspension. It tastes like poison, burns my throat, hurts my stomach, and gives me horrible diarrhea. As I write this, I have to drink three entire bottles of this garbage. Please give me suggestions on how to make it go down easier. I already tried pinching my nose, adding cool aide, and using a straw. PLEASE HELP.

Is it the thick creamy white stuff? Burns your throat?

I'm not sure if it's the same barium, but when I had to drink a barium suspension (far less than you had to, I only drank one bottle) I added orange Gatorade, which made the whole thing taste vaguely like a Creamsicle. Made it much more palatable.

You probably don't want to add volume with 3 bottles, so try orange kool aid powder (orange seems to be the best "cover" flavor) and maybe some sort of liquid sweetener (so as not to thicken the concoction)?

sounds horrible, just think it as your favourite drink, phycologiclly it may taste better, Hope you manage to drink it.

I don't think I have been given this type of drink so could not advise but was just wondering what the MRE's are for, is this to confirm a diagnosis or do you have one and having problems that need to be investigated?
