I am exhausted. I was flaring a little but then got the stupid stomach flu and now things are exponentially worse. I am so freaking sick of this disease.

The flu has been going around for a while now. And pretty badly too. Doesn't help when you have IBD. Its definitely exhausting.

I had it the other way around, I was sick with infections/colds all December and have been flaring all January.

I hope you start to feel better soon. Take good care of yourself.

So sorry you are sick right now. I have heard the stomach bug is a nasty one too. I am praying to God that our family can dodge that one as I know it would really mess me up bad not only in my gut but also with UTI's... I feel for ya. Bad thing about that stomach virus is that it is sooo contagious. That is why they call it the family flu! Once one person has it in the family, the rest are doomed....

Hi Linda,
I wanted to add my sympathies to everyone elses. We have been spared the flu here at my house, thus far, and I am praying I can keep it out! In the best of times i still have diarrhea more frequently then the average person. I need more diarrhea, abdominal pain and vomiting like a hole in the head.

I hope that you are able to get over this flu quickly and with no lasting effects. Good luck!!
