Hi all, thank you very much for the information on this forum. Now to my question:
Since oct 20 I've been having mild but persistent discomfort/pain in my bowels and dry eye. I feel well, no fever or fatigue, blood exam was ok, stool is fine (no diarrhea, blood or anything), no weight loss, no inflammation (C protein, fecal calprotectin ok). However recently Ive been tested ASCA positive and my doctor does not rule out the possibility of early stages CD. Although he says my symptoms are typical IBS and not like anything CD would have, he recommends doing the colonoscopy. I wanted to ask if anyone with CD had a start like this (from what I've read, CD is inflammation, so it affects inflammation markers, comes with diarrhea, severe pain, fatigue etc, but maybe not in the earliest stages?) So to know if its worth doing the colonoscopy or maybe wait a couple of months to see if the symptoms go away.
