I was wondering how people feel 6 months post op. I know its a bit of a subjective issue but how does your wound feel and your crohns in general?
I must say I feel terrific but unfortunately my brain fog has certainly not started to lift - the fog is getting thicker which unfortunately means I am too :ylol:
My wound always looked slightly puckered - it was done like this to avoid a ridge in the tissue in case it was needed again - is this common? It therefore looks and has always felt sort of puckered and depending on what way I sit or move sometimes it looks like someone has taken an ice cream scoop and scooped a bit out of my stomach!
I've also regained a bit of feeling in the area around it so i assume that the nerves are healing ok now too. It feels a bit odd at times - not sore - but just not 'normal'. But i suppose it will until all the nerves etc come back.
How long did you find before your reversal site felt like it was back as a normal part of your body?
