Has anyone elected to have an ileostomy?

I am 20, getting ready to start my career as a paramedic in december. I was officially diagnosed with crohns in april of this year. So far neither budesonide nor humira has worked. I live with severe anxiety about flares. I do not want this to take over my life. I hate being on biologics. I have been researching ileostomy and how it can help crohns patients.

Any advice or input?
I have yet to talk to my doctor or family.

Just a note, you can still have Crohn's with an Ileostomy. I know from experience, sadly.
