I''ve got an appointment to see what meds ill be taking for the forseeable and i've read quite a few stories about side effects and was wondering what kind of things i should expect??? Is there a chance I will start seeing pink elephants break dancing with elvis or can I look forward to even more pain and depression?

I've never seen any pink elephants dancing with Elvis unfortunately! The meds I have been on and the side effects I have found are:

Prednisolone - Trouble sleeping, some weight gain, indigestion, shaking hands.
Pentasta - painful joints at first otherwise nothing.
Azothioprine - Nausea on 150mg per day.

Everyone will respond differently and the symptoms tend to reduce over time. I am also on Citalopram for depression, Omaprazole to reduce the acid trouble, Propanolol to reduce the shakes.

Oh thanks bid as long as im aware of some of the things i might be up against i feel it helps with the anxiety and anticipation I hope you're on a good run at the moment health wise cheers again.

Good luck!! I definitely wouldn't worry about side effects. They all seem really scary but we are all very different. Some people experience different things on each drug, as I'm sure you've read. I hope whatever you start will work for you quickly!
