I have had it with being told test relive Inflammation! It's no help. As far as i can tell it means somethings wrong we have no idea, maybe we will do more annoying and invasive tests just to tell you the same thing.
For some reason I thought after I was diagnosed with Crohn's I would no longer have to play this game. I get it I have inflammatory disease, I have inflammation every where.
I have been being told this for the last 3 year since I started getting uveitis/ scleritis/ iritis. I got a biopsy then. All they could tell from that was inflammation.
Then there was the podiatrist who claimed the plantar fasciitis couldn't possible related to the rest of my inflammation. I like made up reasons and i couldn't even buy that.
On Friday, I had a 2nd endoscopy, because I have been having gastritis issues for the last year. I am not even sure what my GI was looking for. He claimed he was trying check to see if that actually related to the Crohn's or not, I think. What ever he was looking for all he saw was inflammation in my stomach. I wish he said nearly anything else: fungus, a cherry tree growing inside of me (like my mom told me when i was 5)
I know I should complain that much, there are many people on this forum who have worse problems or no diagnoses. I just wish I had a different one.
Now I am off for yet another test, a small bowel follow-through CT scan. I can already predict the out come. I have inflammation.
Thanks for listening.

Well said, and... gack. It does seem like every new/changing/continuing symptom requires a nasty test before we can start to get any treatment for it.

Good luck with the, uh, inflammation.

I hear ya! It sucks, big style!
Just waiting for my next appt, only to be told the same.
Here have some Pred!
Sod orf!
I'm nearly done with it, not going back on it.
So good luck with the tests, again!
xxx

I thought inflammation was your body reacting against something.
All the meds are stopping it rather than finding out what's the cause,
prevention is always better than cure. The funny thing is I was never
Poorly until my first sinus infection when I was 21 it's been all down
Hill since,
Tom
