Itchy err well you know

Ok I'm thinking about starting Humira, but there is one thing I'm worried about. For years I have had an itchy anus and a little bit under the testicles. Occasionally it smells not so great. I've taken anti fungals and antibiotics as well as used a host of creams, ointments, etc. They have helped but I've never been able to get rid of it completely. I know with humira there is an increased chance of internal infections, does it correspond to external skin as well?

Also Remicade was an option but I didn't feel like going to the hospital every six weeks but if that's a better option I would consider it for sure.

Hi Crohnzin. I don't have experience with Humira. But I can tell you for my daughter remicade has work good. And I prefer hospital because I know she will be taken care if something goes wrong. Both of them increases your chance of getting infections, due to lowering your immune system. so far no infection for my daughter. Have you been check for fissures or fistulas. Remicade helped my daughter with hers. At the end is your option. Whatever suit you best. Best wishes.
