J-pouch date!

So went out for a cuppa test with a friend this morning. Got back to find a hospital letter waiting for me.
I thought it was for my gallbladder surgery but NO its my date for my j-pouch surgery!!

It is scheduled for Thursday 2nd August. I need to be at the hospital at 7am!!!
No prep so that is a bonus.

Wonder when my gallbladder surgery will be?

Not sure they will let me have it now cause I had my gallbladder surgery to close to it.

I really hope they let you still get it then!! That would be so crappy if they didn't. i know you had to have your GB out, but still!

I go for my pre op assessment on 24th of this month. They will let me know if I am ok to have it.

That is good news at last.
Usually they like the gallbladder to settle down before the surgery to remove it------------less complications that way.
I had to wait around six months after being rescued from an attack where they kept me in hospital two weeks with iv antibiotics from which I made a good recovery.
Six months later GB surgery.
Hope things go really well for your jpouch.
