Hi, I've recently completed a week long course of diflucan. About three days after finishing it the white tongue returned but also all my joints started hurting. (Hips, knees, ankles, wrists, and the joints in my toes and fingers). I have started a second week of treatment of the diflucan hoping it gets rid of problem but the joint pain Isn't going away. Anyone experienced this or similar? At times the pain is a burning sensation but mostly it is aches like they are swollen but they don't appear to be. Thanks for any input.

The joint pain is likely caused by your IBD -- most people experience this when in flare/when inflammation is present. You should call your GI and let them know. You'll likely have to go on prednisone for a bit to help treat it.

I have been having joint pain all over as well. My gi gave me tramadol to take as needed and it seems to work pretty good. Also arthritis rub works wonders. Not icy hot that stuff does nothing for me but actual arthritis rub that I get from my grandma.
