Hi,

I use an enteric coated Omega 3 Supplement from fish oil. It seems to do good things but in an effort to improve what I take, I have heard about KRILL OIL.

Apparently it has a much stronger anti-Oxident affect than fish oil.

Has anyone else seen any other evidence or has experiance using Krill Oil to help with CD?

I do not have any experience with Krill oil, but the fish oil I have been taking has helped my skin and it is supposed to help kill bad stomach bacteria as well. My regularity took a jump after I started using it for awhile.

My dandruff has left for the first time ever and this I can directly attribute to the fish oil if nothing else.

I think the benefits of these Omega 3 fatty acids has been pretty well tested and established for a healthy heart and general health. I can see no downside other than the cost.

I was going to switch to Krill oil also because I think with Crohn's we need the healing and anti-bacterial properties even more than a normal person. Since Krill oil seems to be even better in comparison I do not see any reason not to use it.

Dr. Mercola has some information on it, and he sells it also. Since he could sell either fish oil or krill oil I am going to assume he has done the work already and has accurately concluded that krill oil is better.

While I do not agree with everything he says, I am pretty sure he would not sell a product of questionable quality. I am going to order his krill oil since it is cheaper than most and he stands behind the quality.

Best Regards

D Bergy

Several years later. I've tried both now and I feel that the krill oil was not quite as good as a high dose omega 3 fish oil.

But anyone else with any further thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks
