Hi,

I bought some L-Glutamine powder as can't take tablets at the moment and I have found that I get pain after taking it in milkshake. Can't do juices and it doesn't dissolve in cold water. My question is, does it change its effects if you dissolve it into hot water?

Also, have people found it to be useful?

It's the most common amino acid. No, haven't done it myself for Crohns, almost did for bodybuilding, and have heard it's got purported positive effects on the immune system. Never considered supp'ing with it lately since I've not been working out and I correlate it with weightlifting more than my Crohns...hmm...I'd say just do your best to disolve it in the cold the best you can...or, disolve it in the hot water, then refrigerate that mixture so it's cold, shake it up (as it may seperate again)....I don't know....

Thanks for that,

In all my healthy guts books, it suggests taking it as it helps heal the lining. It's academic now as even dissolved in hot water and then put into tepid water has given me pain. So knocked it on the head for now. Down to just liquids now!
