and believe it or not the accent is not too exaggerated
 
Hahaha....actually I find it easy to understand but Les has a hearing problem and struggles with accents be that Irish,Glaswegian,scouse or American south etc....Of course many folk cannot understand the Geordie accent.I don't speak broad Geordie and can talk to anyone on any level,but I do lapse sometimes....I find the Belfast accent hilarious and struggle with it.......Have been watching The Blue Light and enjoyed it immensely but WHY did they kill Jerry off ????

never have a problem with the Geordie accent , or the Scots accent , used to love Rab Nesbitt and Still Game , don't watch much uk tv anymore esp cop dramas , too stressful , too realistic , used to love the bill , now its mainly netflix and amazon prime , I get my netflix through turkey for about €4 a month and amazon prime for about a fiver ,
thinking about it the only thing I watch on normal tv is the champions league (which we can still get here for free) an Celeb Jungle which is a great lead into Christmas , And and Dec are really the best thing on tv for that alone .
 
actually Tony,there are a lot more then 95 tiles,but I'll get back to you on that....next time I enter the bathroom empty handed...

I'm carrying it around in case the hospital phones....pacemaker tomorrow I hope...... Les that is not me.

Hi Everyone…
I have been busy with family visiting from England…nice to have visitors but also nice to have my own place to myself once more.
it was quite tiring travelling with the around the countryside.

I woke up this morning with a terrible hangover...to the sound of my neighbour,
mowing his lawn.
I was going to get up ,then I thought "Nah,he can mow around me !"
 
Back on my feet again….how’s things with everyone?
Quite hot weather around here…..but my apartment stays cool enough most of the time.

I'll send all of our averaged assets in payment of the cash fine, but it might mean that the CF owes us the cash when all assets and debts averaged out, lol.
As for Doug and myself, we're just plugging away at life with all of its ups and downs, as I'm sure all of you are. I'm glad to see some of my favorite people here, still, though. Hugs to all of you.

Living life in a dull spell right now
its now eight months with a skin rash…three types…the skin specialist said it might not go away
he prescribed an ointment containing prednisone …it seems to be getting better..
hope everyone is enjoying a good summer
 
That's not a nice thing for you Trysha and let's hope the ointment works wonders for you....I did ask how you were sometime last week,I forget when what with all that's been going on with my darling,but it's always good to see you,and again I hope you feel better soon......gentle hugs to you..

I was about to go pay the hydro bill just received but then noticed how ominous the sky up there…..we had an enormous storm during the night..terrifying thunder and lightning as if it landed in the living room.
I pulled the sheets over my head and stayed in bed.
so now I will pay the bill tomorrow…
international news is so bad and gory…that poor man likely bumped off by Putin…
Suppose I had better make something for dinner…I go to all the trouble and then have no appetite ..the birds quite like it though so its not wasted.

Regarding the book Carol…I have been thinking how and where to start it….
could be as a small child in WW2 London….sometimes I still have dreams taking me back there….
or when a new life started in Canada…..
or when the rain stops pouring down…..don’t hold your breath….
by the way is anyone else getting short of breath with the air pollution
from all the fires advancing from the west?.
it keeps happening to me…I get breathless.
The physiotherapist was going through breathing exercises with me….it did help

I have a spare iPad (till the kids..grown up now come for holidays)
so I might start writing the book of the year…might win a prize.…

Rather than write it Trysha you could just record it and let someone else sort your thoughts out.....don't forget who chose the title though "The Traumas of Trysha"...... a small 10% revenue from your total sales (worldwide of course) would cover my expenses and of course I won't hold my breathe......stay as well as you can and be careful when outdoors.

I would choose a more positive title and play down traumatic events…you would be given prominence for suitable titles…..
preference is to give an all round experience of life with happier and more positive experiences interspersed with the negatives many of us encounter en route
to our senior years.

my grand niece is arriving Wednesday for a short stay….her first visit to Canada.She teaches little ones and was in Boston and Arizona for some months.
this is her first visit to. Canada.,and she is quite excited to be visiting.
I am already feeling tired at the thought of all the shopping and touring……

One wheel on my wagon and I'm still rolling along ,

Just found out my blood pressure is sky high , hopefully is was a one off as all my bloods were good ,

 
Ah,the oldies were the goodies eh? who' s going to sing today's (mostly) rubbish in the shower in 2050 ??? probably not me...
In a span of 11yrs 115 died in a weight lifting accident at the gym.
In the same 11yrs only one person died eating a donut....make good choices ....but think of your blood pressure :whistle:(y)
