Left rib?

Could this be Crohns related? It is not constant but sometimes I get pain around my left rib for a few minutes.

It could be trapped gas. That happened to me a few times with flares. All around my chest and ribs. How long has it been going on?

It could be any number of things, it could be related to your stomach (as in the organ), it could be that you've got something going on in your spleen, it could be you've got some inflammation in the upper part of your intestine or it could be referred pain from your pancreas. If it's persistent and it's bothering you enough to interfere with day to day activities or need pain meds then you should really contact your doctor.

Ron - as my disease has progressed, I've started having pain on my left side upper abdomen. Fairly sharp but only once in a while. GI thinks it's inflammation which should subside once the Remicade takes hold.
