I had a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy on Tuesday. All day, I've had a pain on the left side of my navel. It has been getting worse all day. It doesn't even go away after passing gas, but it does get slightly better temporarily. I am starting to feel light headed, too. I am waiting for my husband to get home to figure out a ride. I don't want to go, but I know it is the right thing to do. I hope it is just trapped gas, but I don't want to take a risk.

I hate going to the ER:(

Hope it ends up being just gas! Better safe than sorry with the trip to the ER!!

Please let us know how you make out!

It turned out after I called my GI, she said I can take some vicodin and try a heating pad. If it gets worse, I am to call her back. I am so glad I don't have to go to the ER. I am still having pain, but the vicodin is helping. She said if I spike a fever or the pain suddenly spikes, I need to book it to the ER.

Thanks for the update!
Hope you settle, I just took tylenol #3 1.5 and waiting for it to kick in...on my days :(.

Heating pads do help and if you can lay on your right side and left leg over the right. If it is gas it will pass. I have had gas and bloat and I toot and all it does is make room for more pain. Hope you are ok.
