Major Fatigue!

Hello!
I have had Crohns for about 15 years (per my GI), but I was just diagnosed about a year ago. I have been very lucky not to have struggled much like most people. I have only been in the hospital once. I am on Cimzia injections and have been doing well as of now. I have been very very tired with NO energy for the last couple months. My CRP level is elevated and now my blood pressure is elevated too (mine is always below normal). I dont know whats going on bc I am not really having major stomach pain?????

Hi and welcome! Have you discussed your energy level and blood pressure with your doctor? If not, I highly suggest contacting him. It could be a side effect of your medication. How long have you been on Cimzia?

I have been on it for about 7 months, I did call him and now I have to booster myself with the shots, and monitor my BP for the next couple of days. He said my blood pressure and fatigue have to do with my elevated CRP level??? but i am not really having other symptoms related to my crohns, but I dont think I have to for my disease to be in an active state

Unfortunately, sometimes people don't have any symptoms, though their disease is active. Are you going to meet with your doctor to discuss the elevated CRP level and how you are going to address it?

We have, I am getting a "booster" dose of cimzia and take one injection every two weekd instead on 2 injections once a month to see if it helps. I am just wondering what the next step is? another colonoscopy? I am just tired of being sooo tired all the time

Well, I assume they'd check your levels again and run additional blood work. I assume another colonoscopy down the lind would be helpful to get a clear picture to see if you have improved, but perhaps not right away, unless you are still symptomatic.

How is your b12? Many on the forum get injections which helps greatly with energy levels.

yea i take 1cc of b12 twice a month

I feel the same with Humira - very very tired with NO energy. I also sometimes feel dizzy. I started Humira in March. My belly is ok, I still have some cramps and hip pain.
