Hi everyone, I just posted in my story but now I've found this thread you might be able to help me!!

My partner has Colitis and his doctor told him yesterday we won't be able to conceive while he is on his medication... I don't know any other details as my partner didn't ask any useful questions. We're due to go back in 6 weeks and ill be going to ask however in the meantime I was wondering if you could help me??

He is currently on Pyralin ED Sulfasalazine EC and Entocort...

Any knowledge of these drugs and their side effects to conception or fetal health would be greatly appreciated.

I'd discuss with your doctor whether they meant it would be more difficult to conceive or whether he outright can't or shouldn't. It seems from the ASA he would just have a reduced chance.

"Reduced sperm counts have been noted in the majority of men on sulfasalazine (Azulfidine), so this should be kept in mind for male patients who are trying to conceive."
