Amazing story... Obviously, this is one courageous dude... The path he chose, the decisions he made, the agressive; perhaps even extreme solution he found... Mind you, with a family history of polyps, cancer, etc.. this solution was probably the very best choice for him... I'm not sure I'd eagerly pursue it for myself.., but then again I don't have a double edged sword of IBD AND family history of cancer to face down the road.. Think anyone considering following in his footsteps needs to consider all the risks he was facing, and all of their own options before making a like decision...

Yea I have family history of stomach cancer, not colon unfortunatly...since I've had my colon removed!
