Hi guys

Quickly introduce my-self, I'm Tommy.

19 Months ago I was undiagnosed and I had a perforation in my colon. 8 months ago I had my ileostomy reversed and I am now in a very good place heath wise, in comparison to before all of this kicked off.

So here it goes, basically I want to go smoke some weed with a friend for this first time. I have some PTSD you could say, anxiety/trouble sleeping. This is not an excuse for me to smoke, I'm going to smoke it for the fun of it, but It may even have an indirect benefit for my health in terms of anxiety and Crohn's..

Quetsion2: I have done a large amount of research, mainly medical journals that conflict, however, they do come to the conclusion that MJ is safe and effective in treating Crohn's, to a certain extent. I don't believe its going to put you in remission but it may help with nausea/pain etc.

From this I said to myself I WAS going to smoke at the weekend. However I was just wondering if anyone has ALSO smoked while on "Azathioprine or Imuran/ Pentasa" or any meds as a matter of fact.

Also can I add, there is a ton of data about the danger of smoke and disease activity/stricture reoccurrence. Not sure if this is due to cigarette smoke or what, but obviously everything you smoke produces CO and that itself reduces blood flow to the bowel. Any opinions? Thanks :)

Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome.there is a thread on this forum headed Medical Marijuana. You will get lots of input from there. You can type it into the search box at the top of the page also. Many people on here benefit from it for different reasons. All I will say,is please don't overdo it.Let's know how or if you feel any benefit....I use CBD oil and can't say if it helps me.But it certainly does me no harm. It's not the same as the real stuff of course.

I smoke on Imuran and clinical trial of filgotinib. Vape CBD and a refular Indica.

In the past year in a half I have had no.change in Crohn's. Really i find cannabis helpful for anxiety, depression, body aches, and sleep.

No adverse effect for me. Outside of munchies with Prednisone..

Hi, Tommy. I have been Smoking marijuana for a long time, I have a disease and I feel pain every day. Marijuana helps me. If you take marijuana in limited doses, you can be calm, everything will be fine. I was in the hospital for almost half a year and saw that sometimes medicine can not help. Doctors advise you to take marijuana or weed, because unfortunately only this can help. Today it is very difficult to get good products. I can share the site weedsmart.net it is reliable. I got that site at the hospital, especially convenient with delivery, as I said it is very important to know the dose. They helped me and I want to do the same:)
