Hopefully theres someone with experience on using humira/imuran/marijuana and pentasa together.
Slim chance but it is a big world, lots of possibilities.
Glad that i can share my experiences with everyone and this forum is made available to us CD sufferers.
Just the mix itself of humira/imuran/pentasa is not that common. You must be on a drug plan, as the insurance companies are as lame as the rest of them. Like the pentasa for instance, I ate 1000's of them, now I am told they are a waste of time for me with disease in the terminal ileum. I laughed at my GI the other day, told him about all the information I have read in this forum. I said to him, all you GI's know what to do for CD, is just throw everything (drugs) you can at CD, as it is really a crap shoot. I got a blank stare back, no comment.
All us CD patients are Guinea pigs, my suggestion to you for thc/cbd is to try it out, ease into it, like take one vap puff, that is it, see what happens, up the dose as required, as you can tolerate. if it does nothing or you do not like the effects, stop. if it works, gives you some relief = great. I wish THC/CBD would cure or arrest my CD, that is a tall order. I was just told by my GI that mtx will also not ever beat down the CD into submission.
Ingesting THC/CBD it is the safest way to take it over inhaling it. Injestion of THC has way more of a body stone than a head buzz. Try the high CBD types, to lessen the THC effects. I have yet to try high CBD/low THC types.
THC/CBD are pretty benign to begin with as far as side effects go. Your body has receptors to these chems. Your body produces similar substances, cannibinoids, so that in it self holds a lot of weight as to its safety. Your body does not produce anything close to humira/imuran/pentasa. these are all toxins in reality.
Animals/humans have been using MJ since the beginning of our species. even our cat loves to eat the stuff(leaves) and she is as finicky as they come. i think I can trust my cat as much or more as I can trust big pharma or the med community in this subject
As far as side THC/CBD side effects, if you consider munchies(appetite), euphoria, anti-nausea, relaxation as side effects, sounds pretty safe to me in comparison to the big pharma solutions.
I showed my sister the other day the sheet of paper that came with the mtx, unreal, every side effect that one could imagine, including death of course, just so that the drug mfg can cover their a$$e$$ in the courts. See, we printed it on the label, that it could kill you
The tissue paper info sheet covered the coffee table with print that you need a magnifying glass to see.
I am planning on making some THC/CBD oil so i can ingest and try out, I will report my results in due course, after i can get off the couch
