On which are you talking about? The marijuana I bought was a mixed pack, and I'm not sure about the edibles, they have a weird dosing table.

I smoke. I think it should be legal for everybody. I also think alcohol should be illegal, as it causes infinitely more problems than cannabis ever will!

Well if anything that the 1920's alcohol Prohibition (or Noble Experiment) taught us it's that Prohibition of any kind doesn't work. If they prohibit it people will find ways (sometimes dangerous) of getting a hold of that particular substance.

Can you believe that the idea of NASCAR came from the wheelmen who would run the alcohol through the country. And also in the town I live in Capone was a regular visitor since he would set up ways of obtaining alcohol from Mexico and sending it up to Chicago.

I saw on the news these scientists also did a case study that when compared to forms of cocaine and methemphetamine..alcohol was much worse..it's amazing that everything that's legal can kill you, yet pot remains as one of the safest natural herbs out there but is still illegal.

Word! I totally agree!:thumleft:

I live in Queensland, Australia...where we have the most backwards cannabis laws in the country. Possession of even the tiniest amount can lead to jail time. This is a real shame as cannabis is the only drug that I have had reliable positive results with.

Every gastro Dr. and GP that I have dealt with has refused to even discuss the science of medical marijuana with me, it would be great if this forum could help some of them realize that many IBD sufferers are gaining incredible relief from this almost completely harmless substance.

I use small amounts daily, and thus risk imprisonment and a criminal record that would adversely affect my career as a touring musician.

Criminals profit from prohibition, and I am forced to deal with criminals to get my medicine....if cannabis is legalized those criminals will be VERY unhappy, but the government could use tax money from cannabis sales for drug treatment centres, and to concentrate on keeping it out of the hands of children (I admit, I am 18 now and have been smoking for 3 years, this is because it has been such a wonderful medicine).

Thanks for listening, I really hope change comes soon.

By 58 years with Crohn’s. My experience and point of view on Medical Marijuana

By 58 years with Crohn’s. My experience and point of view on Medical Marijuana hope it helps: Remember I have had life long Crohn’s and a few times almost died. So most of you aren’t in this boat, you are in your own, and I hope it isn’t near as difficult for you. I am still searching for something that will knock this Crohn’s down. I have had Crohn's since kindergarten grade school but wasn't diagnosed until I was 21. I was real real sick until in high school found Marijuana as kids might do. It was the 60’s. I used it with friends in the late 60's on. I was very ill off and on in my 20's and 30''s and it really helped but I didn’t make the connection. Later I realized why I was attracted to it and even started growing it in 1975 before the big lamps (poor quality though). In 1979 I started halide lights and I finally had the right MM medicine (no sale for me). It helped greatly with my Crohn's symptoms. When I was in my 40's I had 2 kids and my wife made me quit. I quit in the 90's and for pain etc. I drank a lot of beer sometimes after work to kill the pain etc. In the late 70’s and 80’s I was not drinking any alcohol (to sick). If your guts ach bad and you have ever had 3 beers (or more) you know it kills the pain. Next day? Another issue! I then used tons of prednisione to work and raise a family. Building a family on Prednisione, WOW. Not recommended. I must have been really wired because I was doing 3 businesses at once with bad side effects. I got doctors prescription and tried MM again in 2000 and it helped with symptoms, pain, appetite, sleep (especially on prednisone) and even brought down my Blood pressure. I was back to a system that worked. But a non-warranted DUI (was not drunk and no breath test) in 2006, and abusive small town judge, denied me use of MM in 2008 after testing THC positive and jailed me in 2010 for 30 days plus 90 days house arrest and a $3,000 fine. OH he also had my only car repossessed from my son’s house (while in jail) and I couldn’t afford to get it back. Plus probation until 2014. In 2006 I provided all my doctors authorizations to the court but judge never used the phrase MEDICAL just Marijuana. I have never had DUI, traffic tickets (last over 25 years before for speeding) or legal problems before. This judge hated MM my attorney advocate and me so it was pure retribution. I haven't drunk alcohol since end of 2006. If I use MM even with a doctor’s authorization in Washington State he will put me in jail for a year, a whole year just for using MM with a prescription. I would surly die in jail. And the first time I was tortured in maximum security locked in for 30 days, unbelievable? It’s true. I even had a Washington state medical authorization from my doctor and was legal. BOTTOM LINE: If you are on a deferred prosecution (for anything) even for a DUI a judge has your life and can do anything to you, yes including jail and torture (that’s not legal but I will go missing if I fight). So if you are on a Differed Prosecution pin the judge down and get it in writing. Get MM attorneys on your side. Even the ACLU. You might have to quit unless you get the 85% of the judges that would not do anything of the sort. In Washington this is an authorization, not a prescription and that is how abusive judges can kill sick people by adopting the Federal Statute.

Since 2008 I have steadily been getting sicker. I have had Crohn's for 54 years. I have tried everything and have am intolerant or have reactions. I have had the usual, resection, fistulas since 5th grade, massive internal bleeding from 1973 to 1989 when emergency surgery helped that problem thank god. I was lucky the resection didn’t spread the Crohn’s. This week I'm trying Enocourt. Medicare gets charged $1,500 a month if I use it. I'm really sick about that alone knowing that there is some natural cheap (comparatively) remedy to bring this under control but Medicare wont pay for natural meds. We could cut prescription costs in half but, oh my, the pharmaceutical companies would suffer. What a bunch of ****!! What a rip off. I would like to try natural solutions because I have run out of options but can’t afford them now and Medicare won't cover them. I know there is a natural product that would help. I am sitting here having wicked reactions, shaky, mass anxiety, headache, and nausea from the Enocourt. I'm at my wits end trying to navigate the pharmaceutical choices since I was 21. I had a working system but isn’t it great when the law steps in and starts playing doctor over peoples lives. It should be my choice. Before my ticket I was even a member of a legal collective and master cultivator for 1-½ years. Don’t get the wrong idea, I am a professional who has been in engineering, roads inspection and even inspecting 747, 767 aircraft on final assembly. Don’t worry I was never on MM doing that critical work. Like I said in the evening. There is butter, drinks, capsules and much more you can make from grass I have helped people with MS, aids, cancer, hepatitis, god people were here and gone the next day. It’s heart breaking. It was a god sent for their last days. YOU KNOW WHERE I STAND NOT JUST ME I HAVE BEEN THEIR AND SEEN OTHERS. You don't have to smoke it. Even if you do there are vaporizer systems that don't let smoke into your lungs but just vapors and the active ingredients. As eating it sometimes gave me a hangover I prefer the vaporizer because you hardly have to use much, it’s not smoke, and it works in a few minuets and in the morning you have no side effects. It’s in your blood but when we develop tests for Rush Limbaugh we can test him positive for using cocaine 5 years ago and put him in jail YA (sarcasm). If necessary I would use it in the eve and not in the day as you know because of a relaxed side effect. Not a cure but a great symptom reliever while not working or doing brain surgery. One thing that was helping me but the law will kill me if I use it now. May the persecuted rule!! GREAT COUNTRY!! BAD JUSTICE SYSTEM!! Bottom line. If my son had it and it was the difference of extreme pain and nausea, weight loss etc. and what I went through, YES I would do anything to help with appetite and symptoms especially because MM does not come close to tobacco, alcohol and a lot of prescription medications in serious reactions. A capsule in the evening (yes you can make what you call a merry pill and it works). People under 18 would need a doctor’s special evaluation because you can get stoned. Also the potency can be managed. No one has EVER died form MM. AND it is not all the same. Potency and the genetic type hold different properties. Some may make you fall asleep or paranoid. But I found cretin types are just right with no anxiety, relaxing, make me hungry, sleep and could take the place of 4 or 5 pharmaceuticals. But it would be with the advice and doctor and authorization. Just be legal. Goggle, CannabisMD.com for a book, information and Washington laws. I hope we all get well soon!
PS: press for natural meds to be covered by Medicare and insurance. Also vote for legalizing MM because the vote is coming. As I said above Crohn’s sufferers aren’t the only persons that desperately need the natural medicine. Thank You.

^ thats a post and a half

I think anything people do with their own bodies should be legal wether its PCP or weed, its NOONES right to tell some one what they can or cannot do, But if suddenly your hurting other people with what you do than its not ok. I live in BC though I can smoke weed whenever I want and its easy to find. Marijuana is the ONLY medecine I have and it saved me last night, I had two AWEFUL days and the pain just DIDNT GO AWAY, took one dat hoot and I could finally calm down and enjoy the TV
