Hello,
hope everyone is doing well (as can be)
I was wondering how many use meditation as a form of self help, relaxation, etc.
If you have not tried it, i can't help but to encourage you to look into it. There are many really good guided meditations. Some are easier then others ;) It can also be as simple as deep breathing/ releasing ~ with nice music or quiet. Going through your body , tightening and relaxing.....it can really create a soothing feeling.

Meditation can help with stress, a more positive outlook, sleep, even aid in digestion. It can also possibly help some have a better outlook on their condition, handling the curves we are thrown and just a better feeling about yourself. (you are all fabulous ~ stars!)

*if..remember, what if it all goes right....
I wish you all abundant peace and mega positive vibes.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I don't meditate, but I often think about it and wish I would make the time (I think the fact that I "don't have time" is exactly why I should!)
Any suggestions how to start? Books, tapes, online would be easiest? Can I mediate and stretch at the same time, or does that sort of defeat the purpose?
I have tried in the past and found it incredibly hard to have a quiet mind, I find myself thinking about all the stuff I should be doing!

Hello, i really think it is worth a try, try , try ;) Practice is key and time can be a minimal. Even as little as 5min a day. It is pretty normal to have other thoughts when starting. As you practice you should find it easier. First thing in the am or later pm is great ~ but whenever you have time is perfect too. There are no hard fast rules.
There are many meditations on youtube, it is best to look around and find something you like. Deepak Chopra is lovely as is Louis Hay.
There is much research on healing and meditation. I honestly believe it can help with our guts. It has helped me. I am if anything much more relaxed and not fearful of being.

To your peace and good health ;)

Doing meditation is one of the best way to keep our mind and body relaxed. A person must do atleast meditation for 15 minutes per day.

You can also do meditation as part of yoga. I find it really helps with my symptoms. It can be as long or short as need be or as intense or easy.
