meds or no meds?

ok this may be long and rambling but i just want to get some different perspectives. my first doc did my colonoscopy in june and determined i had early crohns because i had tons of ulcers and he took 31 biopsies but they all came back "inconclusive". since then i have been in the ER several times and been hospitalized once. upon seeing a new GI he didnt think i had crohns at all. so he took me off the prilosec and the asacol and tapered me off of the prednisone which i finished two days ago. i was fine for a few weeks with just stomach pain here and there. but now the constant stomach pains are back and its like 3 times worse then it was before. the D has now returned everytime i try to eat something and the urge that "i have to go RIGHT now" is back. the D is back to being runny, my stomach hurts, im still vomitting. i had a CT scan that showed "slight thickening of the right colon". my insurance sucks and i can only have one colonoscopy a year, so i have to wait until jan. if i want another one. sooo now i'm wondering should i have even been taken off the meds? i'm having all the same symptoms as i presented with but now it just seems like its getting worse. i gained weight from the prednisone but now im slowly losing the weight because im afraid of eating because i know it will only make my stomach hurt and send me to the bathroom for god only knows how long. this is is so frustrating. should i look for a new GI? i feel like a test animal. i've had every scan, drank the nasty barium crap and had it in IV, blood tests and feces test. i feel like no matter how much testing is done they cant find an answer and think im crazy. all they want to do is give me pain meds and i wont take them because they make me super constipated and i have to be in MAJOR pain to break down and take half of one. sorry for the ranting. hope you guys are all feeling PAIN FREE. :)

OH and to add... when walking to classes at school (which are literally one building next to each other) i have horrible pain in my legs and it feels like my bones are hurting or something. its really weird.. i cant even walk to the next door building without having to take a rest

Maybe its UC and not Crohns? I don't know. Either one needs medication though. I don't see why a doctor would take you off all meds when you had ulcers and thickening, especially if the meds were helping. Boggles the mind. I already don't like the second doctor. Sounds like a quack to me. What happened to the first doctor? Third time can be the charm. ;) You need treatment not this screwing around that the second doc seems to be doing.
