Hi kids...
I'm still pretty new to this site. So first of all thank you for existing! I have a perianal fistual that recently became an absess. In the fight to fix it I seem to have formed a fisture (tear) that feels like shards of glass when I go potty. I have not had a regular bowel movement in over a month.
Went to the GI today and they gave me the cocktail above. Just took my first 6 pills of the steroid and (6 day script) and I am a bit freaked out by it. Has anyone been on it? What did it do to you?
I'm suppose to go on vacation in 13 days and want nothing more to be better. So I'm in it to win it. I tend to like the more natural approach to these things, butt.... I'll do what needs to be done.
They also mentioned there is a botox proceedure performed on fistures that makes them heal quicker. Anyone ever hear of this? Any experience with it?
