My daughter (13) has recently been struggling with bad headaches. Not sure if it is related to Crohns, medication or another issue. She does not get headaches so this is unusual for her. It has been 4-5 days now. Doctor doesnt think it has to do with Crohns but wanted to see if anyone else suffers with them.:sign0085:
thank-you

Well my newest forum friend that's what the eye doctor told me Grace could be having with her sharp eye pains and she even gets a pupil that stay dilated for 2-3 hours.
My Grace takes no meds yet. BUT my is still undiagnosed.

`The only thing I can think of is dehydration due to the amount of bowel movements (this is what happened to me), or another thing I saw on the BBC website that if people take paracetamol regularly this can cause headaches.

Other non crohns related ideas is eye sight. Is she straining her eyes too much? (needs glasses or on tv/pc too much), or possibly stress (school , body run down due to lack of rest time / sleep)

If it doesnt go within a couple of days i'd think about ringing the docs, seems a tad long for a headache

I have only had 3 migraines in my life. My other daughter does get migraines and takes medication for it. I just dont want her to have to take another serious medication. I am waiting a while to see if it goes away (giving her tylenol)

Sarah always had headaches, migraine like in nature, as a symptom of her Crohn's. They did eventually resolve once she was fully in remission.

They did not last that 4-5 days at a time though. Did the Tylenol work?

Dusty. xxx
