MMJ helps with immediate symptoms? Or long-term symptoms?

Hey guys, so I see a lot of folks in this forum speak to how MMJ helps them with acute stomach pain, nausea, appetite, etc. But does anyone have experience with it controlling recurring flare-like symptoms?

I'm starting to feel the early symptoms of a flare coming - primarily evening fevers (~100 F) accompanied by fatigue and some cramping for the past month or so - and I'm wondering if MMJ would be a reasonable course of action to get it under control. Just seeing if anyone has experience with this type of thing and how long it took for MMJ to help. Or are people using it in more of like a "pain pill"?

Hi.
Find a strain ritch on CBD!! It is very beneficial in terms of inflammation. THC will allay pain and arguably make the nausea go away etc etc, so it is smart to have some different strains. If the inflammation goes away, all the bad symptoms also will disappear.

I would try both vaporizing and to take capsules filled with Cannabis oil(maby 3 times a day). Start with small doses. Recipe can be found in the thread: "different ways to make cannabis oil". Make the one using olive oil in a water bath! My diarrhea usually disappears within 3-4 days of using capsules. Vaporizing/smoking will mute symptoms in a matter of minutes, but it takes several months before I feel completely fine. The sicker you are when you start, the longer time it will take "to take control". When you've got control, you can decrease or increase the doses you take each day, seeing as how you're feeling.

I have severe Crohn's and have medicated myself with cannabis for 15 years. This works very well for me. Also started with 4.5 mg LDN before Easter and together they do a great job with my body. I work as a nurse, full time night shift. I can eat almost anything I want, but I am cautious with alcohol and too much sugar. I have perfectly normal bowel movements. No abdominal pain. My joints are fine. No recurring flare-like symptoms etc etc Without these medicines I become very sick. It's like living in two completely different worlds.

You can also put the oil on eczema, hemorrhoids, sunburn, toothache,on or around the wound etc etc., and I think you will be amazed of the effect! Put it straight on or mix it into a moisturizer you like.

Hope this helps, sry for my bad english and have a nice day:)

I wonder if it would help my HHS if I made/ got an oil.. .

Here you have infomasjon about cannabinoids & how they can benefit patients:

http://azmedtest.com/educate/cannabinoids/

And here you have some information about the medical cannabis, Bedrocan, sold in Europe. It says "CBD does not seem to be very well absorbed in the intestines, it is advised to administer Bediol(CBD-rich strain) in the form of inhalation."

http://www.ncsm.nl/english/the-dutch-medicinal-cannabis-program/available-varieties

For us with bowel disease, I think it has good effect to take capsules since it is in the gut we have inflammation, and that's where it's supposed to work, but in terms of HHS, you will most likely have the best effect of inhale CBD-rich cannabis. You may want to try all the options to find out what works for you.
