Does anyone else experience the most discomfort/urgencies during the morning?
I find that a few minutes after I wake up and start moving around a bit, I get suddenly get cramps then the urgency to go to the bathroom.
Usually it is diarrhea only and lasts about a few trips to the bathroom.
But since I am mid-flare and on prednisone again, I can go an entire day or two without going, then wake up one morning in pain from constipation and the intense urgency to pass stool which is solid, followed by diarrhea. This is TERRIBLY uncomfortable and can last about an hour. The rest of the day I will feel fine.
Needless to say I have had to change my morning routine and wake up earlier before work to make time for any "emergencies". I am always afraid I will have to be late to work because of it. I basically ride the bus to work in fear.
It makes me not want to eat at all to try to avoid the morning urges.
Does anyone else get like this? What do you do/take to help with all of this cramping morning urgency mess.
