Hey all. I know that mouth sores can be a symptom of Crohn's. L's GI and pediatrician ask if he has had any every time we go in, so I have been monitoring him. I noticed a white sore on the inside of his bottom lip last night. I have been watching it today, and another slightly larger sore has now popped up next to it. I don't know how to tell if these are Crohn's related or not. Can anyone give me advice and/or tell me how I can determine if these are Crohn's sores or something else? Thanks in advance.

If you have Crohns and you get mouth sores
Typically they are Crohns

We just take pics
And note the dates for the next GI appt
Ds used to get them a lot in the beginning
Outside of biopsy (which we haven't done )
They just watch and have Ds use magic mouth wash

Thank you! I've taken pics of them and we see the GI on the 13th, so I'll bring them up when we go.

Yup, same here. We just report to the gi.
If they get really painful, we use a prescription of magic mouthwash.
It's awesome and worth keeping around (3 out 4 people in my house suffer from horrible ones).
