A number of months ago a retired doctor friend of my fathers showed me an article on the worms reported to help IBD conditions. I thought it was nice of him. I didn't know what to make of the article though. It seems gut microbes and now worms seem to be a hot topic of late concerning improving health. Hope the worms help some. The different probiotics that I tried didn't improve my health. Figure I'll let others try the worms out before I will at this point.
The retired doctor family friend worked in a different specialized field as he told me. He wasn't all that familiar with the workings of the GI system. Probiotics and intestinal worms was new to him. While working he specialized and was a pioneer in sex change operations. Specially he changed men into women.
Now being retired he makes the social scene, attending gatherings and having a good time. I've been told by others in the neighborhood that he is a must invite to cookouts. He is the very best sausage barbecuer in the area.
Fecal transplants and worms are very different approaches to treatment. Fecal matter is full of bacteria that may be detrimental to the survival of pathogens, either killing them directly or enabling our immune systems to function more effectively against them.
