Moviprep

Just had a colonoscopy this afternoon - all went well. Just have to ask about Moviprep... why is it so blinking disgusting? Overly sweet, with a really curious aftertaste - oh, and you have to drink 2 litres of the stuff!

NB: Afternoon colonoscopies really suck. I was absolutely starving by the time it got around to mine!

I guess it's better than having a sour or metallic taste??? who knows with these companies that make the prep.

Well it sounds like you could drink it. That is better then I did when I tried it. I drank about half of the first bottle and started puking. That stuff is as nasty coming back up as going down. I have told my doctors time and time again that I want the prep that taste like beer.:ylol:

I didnt find it too bad tbh, Ive heard thats its one of the better tasting preps. Theres just so much of it to drnk, i was glad to have a bottle of lucazade to wash it down with.

I did buy some boiled sweets to help with the hunger pains, but it turns out that one of the flavour was exactly like the moviprep taste, sort of put me off haha
