In The Innocence of Not Wanting to Live or Die, I talk about my experiences with Crohn's Disease in and out of hospital over the last four years. Some of it was very difficult to write about, but I'm very proud that I can say my book got completed, edited and eventually published.

There's a certain seriousness tinged with humour within my poems, and it's much closer to the "easy-read" style of modern poets such as Charles Bukowski than Shakespeare. Many Crohn's patients will be able to relate to the range of emotions I portray throughout my struggle.
