Hey everyone,
I just got back from a three week trip to France and England and had an awesome time! I had been so worried that my crohns would cause heaps of problems while I was traveling but to my utter amazement it was really well behaved, even better than at home and I only had a day of feeling quite ill and that I think was the result of a specific meal. I am so happy because after being restricted so much in my travel plans over the last year I finally got to go somewhere and it all went really well.
Admittedly I was pretty restricted in what I could eat, but for the record France has the best bread I have ever tasted (and I ate a lot of it!). Anyways, just thought I would spread my good experience to all my crohns buddies and for the record I would recommend both England and France (especially) as great travel destinations for us crohnies.
I hope everyone is feeling good (or as good as possible) and happy holidays!
