Good morning everybody....
Last time I was on was sometime back in april, it's been a long time.
I had my first treatment of remicade back in mid April on a friday. It went well.... However the next day Saturday I fell off a lader and broke my leg and had to have surgery. I do ot have to tell you that cause me so much trouble. The fact that I broke my tibia plateau in ten different places, and since I had my treatment the day before they were worried about operating me. Worried about infections and all. I also had a heart problem while I was waiting for surgery my heart beat was at 180 for 24 hours. They had to shock me to stabilise my heart.
Another thing I used to have to go to the bathroom about 10 times a day, try doing that with a huge cask on one leg and everytime you move it hurts like crazy. I stopped eating altogether for a few days just to make sure I did not have to go to the bathroom.
It was a bit crazy at the hospital. I was followed by 4 doctors. My leg doctor, my GI doctor, my heart Doctor and the generalist doctor.
I finally had my surgery a week later and it took me 10 weeks to start walking again. Now I am have trouble with circulation in my leg but I am walking again. Thank god.
I had my fourth remicade treatment yesterday. I am on the 8 weeks treatment. It's doing wonders for me. My diherea is almost all gone I am only taking purionethol 50 mg a day in regards to crohn's. It's really impressive how it works.
So that's pretty much my story up to now. Just needed to share it with everybody.
