hi everyone my nme is keke and ive been having ibd for yrs but jus got dx in aug.2012 but i dnt kno whay to expect the doc put me on asacol 3x times aday. My story well this passed aug. i was cramping extremly bad i almost counld not walk i was so much pain i went to a bm and i started to s about 4 times sweat really bad felt like i wanted to faint it hurt so bad even to push so i did that. So i tld my husband to take me to the hospital and admitted me for 3 days i was on so many antiboics and nauesa meds thru a iv. so the doc came in and said you hve ibd and i was in so much pain they thought i was my appendix so the surgeon ruled it out.... but im still in pain on my bleft side plz help

I don't kno I took the Prometheus text but haven't got the results yet.. The doc jus told me ibd I kno it's a type if Crohn's

Are they having a tough time differentiating between Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis (two of the more common forms of IBD), thus the Prometheus test?

It's Crohn's

I see. Which Prometheus test did they do on you, do you know?

Do you know if your disease is in your small intestine, large intestine, or both?

I believe the large because the inflammation was on my left side is that rite
