Hi,
I am starting a thread again because I almost hijacked someone else's. As I said in my intro post, I have had GI symptoms since 2007, but they are pretty bad right now. Right now I am extremely nauseous, which I wonder whether it is due to constipation/bloating (I do have diarrhea too but my doc says I'm constipated) or due to reflux? Also, does anyone know any treatment or dietary recommendation for nausea? I take omeprazole for reflux but I'm not sure it works.

Hi hope you get some answers soon. They say ginger is good for nausea that said I can't have it as I think it makes me worse, you can get meds for nausea from the doc I'm not sure what they're called though sorry not much help. I took Nexium for duodenitis which helps for acid pain. You need to find the source of the nausea though and treat it have you had a scope yet?

HI Archie,
No not had a scope yet. I got referred to GI only a few days ago and am on the waiting list (if the referral letter has reached the GI dept yet). I am in for a check-up with my GP on Tues so will bring this up.
