Totally not IBD related, just parenting...but figure we need a laugh more than anyone :)
My rule is no screaming unless you 're bleeding, but Izzi (5) and her brother (22 mos) yell EVERY SINGLE TIME I am trying to take a shower. Yesterday I showered AND shaved and not a peep out of them. I yelled from the bathroom that I was so proud of them and that they were going to get a treat at the grocery store for being so good. When I walked out into the living room to find that it was COVERED in an entire roll of toilet paper and my kids grinning like crazy.
Guess next time I will look to see WHY they were so quiet first lol!

Yes! Fear the silence! It bodes much worse than the screeching! :ylol:

Dusty. :)

I agree, the silence is always worrying. I went to find out why my youngest was so quiet when she was a little younger to find her covered in a tub of sudocrem (nappy barrier cream)...oh my word her nostrils and mouth were full and her carpet was never the same!

At least when they're screaming you can hear what they say. It's when they start whispering you have to worry!!

yes, that DID get a chuckle out of me!.....I agree - the quiet times are the ones you need to watch out for!!!

lol reminds me of one day when my son(3 at the time) let me sleep in late. When I woke and walked into the living room chocolate sauce was everywhere and a gallon of milk was next to it. Aparently he thought he could make his own chocolate milk...instead he made chocolate carpet.

That is so true I always worry when my 3 year old is quiet. It usually means she is making trouble in the bathroom. She loves to get into my makeup whenever I am not looking! LOL!

LOL... that must have been priceless! (Bit late to the party here!)
