Today DS came home from school crazy excited. He said they just started physical fitness testing and he got "outstanding" rankings (meaning he exceeded the expectations for his age) for sit ups and that test where you reach your arms past your toes. Sorry, forgot what it's called. Anyway, he was over the moon because this is the first time since dx six years ago that he's ever passed any part of the physical fitness testing. He's always been too weak, too sick, flaring, anemic... something.
He also said it's the first time his stomach didn't hurt while doing those two particular tests. That made me a little sad, but he was so darn happy I just had to smile with him.
He says can't wait to go back to Phy Ed class to blow his (flaring) fall fitness test scores out of the water.
Thank you, Remicade.
I'm just going to keep pinching myself here to make sure this is all real.
