Need advice or exp. on LIFT procedure

I recently had a non-cutting seton placed to help my rectal fistuala drain. Although i experienced alot of pain and discomfort early on. I am doing much better now. I am 29 years old and have been dealing with crohns since i was around 14. I have been fortunate in that it has remained mostly peri-anal. I am with a surgeon who wants to perform a LIFT ( which is an acronym for some long name ) procedure. I was wondering if anyone has ever had it done? what was it like? what can i expect? was it successful? I would greatly appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Sorry I have no experience on this procedure. Since this post is a late response have you already had the procedure done? Any update?
